Tip — the EPA pegs the US average at about 0.39 kg CO₂/kWh. EU grids average 0.25–0.30. Coal-heavy grids (China, India, parts of the US Midwest) push 0.7+. Renewables-heavy grids (Norway, France) drop below 0.10.
