How to use this time tracker
  • Type a task, pick a project (or add a new one), and click Start. The big clock counts up from 0:00.
  • Click Stop to save the session. The duration, range, and (optional) note are written to localStorage.
  • The history, totals, and exports always reflect the current filter. Switch presets to slice by today, yesterday, the last 7 days, this month, or all time, and pick a project to narrow further.
  • By project and By day totals show a per-bucket time and session count. Click a column header to toggle the sort direction.
  • Export TSV and Export JSON download the currently-filtered view. Import JSON replaces your current history with the contents of a JSON file (you'll be asked to confirm).
  • Nothing leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage will wipe the history — back it up with Export JSON if it matters.
