Anagram Finder

Type the letters you've got, pick a mode, and see every dictionary word you can make. Exact anagrams use every letter once. Sub-words lists every dictionary word whose letters fit inside yours (2+ letters, longest first). All words tries to use every letter split across 1–N dictionary words, Scrabble-rack style. The dictionary is a 63,000-word common-English list that loads on the first keystroke; nothing is uploaded.

How it works

Exact
Walks the dictionary and surfaces every word whose letter multiset matches your input exactly. Sorted A–Z. Good for "I have 7 letters, what single words can I make?"
All words
Tries every way to partition your letters into 1–N dictionary words. Great for Scrabble / Words with Friends. The search is exponential in the letter count, so we cap it at 7 letters. Larger inputs fall back to sub-words.
Sub-words
The every-words-that-fit mode. Returns the longest dictionary word first, then shorter ones. Useful when you only need "what's the biggest word I can make?"
Dictionary
A compact 50k-word English list ships with this page. No network round-trip, no upload. Words shorter than 2 letters are skipped.
