The dataset is a hand-curated ≈ 500-entry subset of the Unicode CLDR annotation list — the common ones the user actually wants. The search matches against name (e.g. grinning face) and against a small set of keywords per entry (e.g. happy, smile). Search is case-insensitive and strips diacritics.

Click any tile to copy. The Recently used list is stored in your browser’s localStorage; clearing it does not affect anything else.
